Since starting my site 10 months ago I have had some great months and month 10 has been another great one. Last month I went over the $2k/month mark for the first time and this month my one website has made over three thousand dollars.

The beautiful thing about this month is that based on my plan for my business I moved away from personally working on the student loan site and focused on my new site I am building (Canadian Insurance niche). So the $3k was almost entirely passive. (more…)

Month 9 has seen a huge jump in income and my goal of making more than Pat Flynn’s security guard site came very close!!! But the best event of the month was me finally being able to get my email opt ins to work!! This took 9 months but I am now able to get around 10 opt ins per day (compared to 17 for 8 months).

I am very happy to announce that I have started creating my next larger niche “Authority” site about the Canadian Insurance industry http://ourinsurancecanada.com/.

March will go down as one of the busiest and most exciting months of my life! With the birth of my first child (baby boy) at the start of march and my day job requiring up to 90hr weeks it was crazy. Luckily I was able to cut back on my hrs at work when my son came to spend time helping out at home.

Because of the amount of time I had to put into other parts of my life I only managed to put in about 10hrs total into my online efforts.

This month has reinforced one of the main things I love about making money with websites – COMPLETELY PASSIVE INCOME! (more…)
