June Income Report
June was one of the most eventful months in my online businesses history.
It is the month where I worked my last day at my day job and have now moved back to my hometown to pursue online entrepreneurship full time!
Lots happening in my life and online business in June⦠some good some less than ideal (see ankle/move story below) but all part of the adventure!
My Business Focus Points:
- Passive Income Website Portfolio
- AuthorityWebsiteIncome Blog
- SEO & Expired Domain Services:
- Domain Finding Service(buy domains that meet my metrics)
- Done for Your Private Blog Network(let my team build you a personal PBN)
- LightningRank(get access to the most powerful PBN available!)
- Brand Builders(FBA Branded Site Creation & Affiliate Site Creation)
- Amazon FBA Business
- Brand #1
- Brand #2
- Brand #3
- New Web App Project
- Email Opt In Sequence β (100 signups per day for FBA Business) βI have recently changed the sequence of driving people to Amazon to first send them through a squeeze page where they receive a marginal discount (5-15%) in exchange for their email. This has increased my opt in rate for that business to 100 per day!
- FBA Business #2 Now Live and Selling β Finally some promising progress on this partnership after several months of challenges and set backs we are now moving forward with the site holding solid with traffic and driving sales of our product on Amazon.
- SEO Consulting β Although I will continue to do this on a very limited scope I have enjoyed working
- Quit Job, Moved Houses and Setup in New Office With No Loss in Work β Lots of moving parts in June along with the usual Summer family/friend social commitments but we pulled off the move successfully and I am now setup in my new office crushing work.
My New Office Setup...
My office is located in a co-working space in Collingwood Ontario called TheCleverOffice with some great waterfront views, fast internet, complimentary coffee/tea and a co-working community with tons of support it has made the migration to being setup and productive extremely efficient!
If you are ever happen to be in the area or want to work in proximity to me and my growing team feel free to find out more about the co-working space here.
- Tearing My Ankle Apart β Not exactly business related but still worth mentioningβ¦ the night before the moving truck came with several things left for me to move around I was playing baseball and tore my ankle up good! Definitely added a little complexity/pain to the move but it is what it is.
WARNING CLICK TO REVEAL β Gross Picture for those weirdoβs (like me) that like seeing pictures of nasty bruisesβ¦
- Amazon Affiliate Challenges β The partnership Amazon Associate accounts I am apart of have had substantial problems with getting closed down by Amazon. This has hurt the performance of both partnerships. What is odd is that my personal account continues to not have problems. These challenges has me rethinking what had been my original plan to double down on the business model of investing in affiliate sites and turning into FBA businesses.
- My Email Marketing Sucks β My email marketing is terrible! This is nothing new but with the number of subscribers I am now getting across all my businesses my automation and follow up sequence is embarrassingly bad! Time to improve!

Hi,
Could you provide some more information regarding the closure of the Amazon account? This is not something we hear of frequently, but can have a massive effect on businesses focusing on Amazon affiliate sales.
Hi Charl
This is something that is occurring more and more. The key is that everyone should be ensuring they are compliant with the Amazon TOS. I will try and share more information and the plans I have to help ensure all my sites are compliant.
Jon
I’d be happy to hear more as well. I know they are very difficult with sellers and have heard of affiliate accounts closed due to inappropriate email marketing methods (spam).
Hi Anne, any affiliate links being sent by email can get an associate account suspended.
Hey Jon, yeah you can’t post any “offline” links. Under the TOS users must knowingly click a link from your website before going to Amazon.
I was wondering if you got banned for promoting your own products? eg. getting the affiliate commissions for products that you are also selling private label through FBA?
This is a plan I am putting together and just wanted to see if you know if you are able to promote your own products … can’t find the answer from Amazon.
Cheers
Hi Carl, there is in the TOC a location that talks about the ability to promote your own products (or that is at least how I interpret it)… BUT don’t send any Affiliate links via email.
Jon,
Glad to hear your family have settled in! Moving is stressful enough – but to keep on grinding and growing the business – awesome job!
Thanks Allen, it was busy, the busted ankle the night before certainly added some complexity! Overall it was done pretty smoothly.
Ouch Jon,
What a day to get yourself injured like that. Best of luck on the recovery.
Loving the view from your office window. Respect!
Konrad
Thanks Konrad… tough to view the screens when its really sunny but I can’t help it with a view like that π
Ouch on that foot! That looks painful! I’m glad the move went well. Thanks for another interesting report!
(I just posted my first revenue report a few days ago π )
Congrats Anne on your first income post. Keep pushing and I will follow along.
regarding issues with Amazon accounts – it seems a good idea to have several Amazon, AdSense etc accounts, just to lessen the impact on business if one of them (or more) got into trouble …
Jon
Thank you for sharing your journey.
I’m the GM for a large online entity. My goal is to take information from people like you combined with my experience and create multiple streams of income.
Being able to use your experiences as a “guidepost” is very helpful.
Thank you!
Cheers

Thank you for sharing your income details! I am looking to start affiliate marketing but still wondering where to start.
You are growing smoothly, that’s good to hear. Keep it up.
Jon, you are a machine, and an inspiration. Great to read your successes. You are very organised. What multiple have you been paying on passive sites, and how do you avoid being scammed? I bought a site where the traffic crashed after buying as the seller pulled all their private network links.
Regards
Rod
Site redesign looks good. Keep hearing your name dropped all over. Just heard you mentioned by Justin on the webequity show. You and Spencer are my go to guys to learn.
